The game is based on the plant lore of Polish and Lithuanian communities, but it can also be played very well using Estonian knowledge, since the plants and their uses have been selected so that only a few of the plants\u2019 uses differ (for example, there is no record of calamus leaves being placed under bread in Estonia).
